Shaun Paisley

Shaun is a business litigator with almost two decades of experience working on high-stakes cases for plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts and in arbitration.  A generalist, Shaun has experience in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including consumer class actions, IP disputes, breach of contract cases, and employment disputes.  Shaun also has extensive appellate experience, having briefed and won appeals before the U.S. Supreme Court, several federal Courts of Appeals, the California Supreme Court, and the California Court of Appeal.  Most notably, in DIRECTV, Inc. v. Imburgia, 136 S. Ct. 463 (2015), Shaun successfully represented DIRECTV in its appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court concerning the enforceability of arbitration agreements.

Before joining Koning Zollar LLP, Shaun was a partner in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, a leading international law firm, and the founder of Paisley Law, a law practice in New Haven, Connecticut.
